Marcus Fung
Marcus Fung is a Chinese born Canadian living in Treaty 6 territory, Amiskwaciy Waskahikan, Cree for Beaver Hills, now known as Edmonton. He is a classically trained pianist and a graduate of Grant MacEwan College holding diplomas in Music Composition and Jazz Piano performance. He began a mentorship and career specializing as an early music and movement teacher with Music Together of the Northern Lights. He later learned to weave his love for music with inclusion, going on to work with peoples of many backgrounds, ages and abilities. He developed his understanding of working inter-modally studying Expressive Art Therapy.
He continues to foster his interest in the transformative possibilities of sound therapy and the healing arts. He graduated recently from the 8th Fire School of Shamanism and finished a practitioner training in Ancestral Lineage Repair. He continues to learn and grow in his community where he likes to refer to himself as a re-generative culture artist.

About us
drumAdrumDRUM
We have been operating in and around the Edmonton area since 2008. Delivering our speciality of developmentally appropriate, exciting, uplifting and interactive events.
We serve diverse populations such as the newly born, the dying, newcomers, youth at risk, universities and organizational teambuilding.
Our vision
We help to create a world where people feel included and welcomed to gather and express themselves in the circle. We do this by creating safety, building trust and having fun together.
We use the gift of rhythm and participatory music to re-generate and celebrate the inherent connections that exist between people. Recognizing, each in our own way, that we are part of something greater, carried by a bigger song. Gathering in the spirit of friendship and respect, we feel deeply moved and renewed to continue on as our best selves.
